Six little coves with golden sand and turquoise waters is the raison d’être for Cala d’Or. A modern, multinational low-rise resort in southeast Mallorca, Cala d’Or winds its way around an indented shoreline, punctuated by a series of small marinas. When these beaches get full —which in summer is certain— head south to the equally beautiful coves at Cala Mondrago, Cala Figuera and Cala Llombards.

If you visit the island of Majorca Porto petro is a lovely place to visi and I totally recommend the hostal. The staff were wonderful the room was fab and the whole experience was worth every penny... The Ajoining restaurant and bar was excellent and so relaxed. "REFURB NOT QUITE FINISHED!"
THE HOTEL HAD JUST BEEN REFURBISHED. THERE WERE ONE OR TWO SMALL PROBLEMS WITH PLUMBING. I WAS UPGRADED TO A 5 STAR FOR 2 NIGHTS AND THEN THE HOSTAL PUT ON A MEAL FOR ALL THOSE WHO WERE AFFECTED BY NO HOT WATER FOR A NIGHT. "Enkelt men bra"
Litet hotell utan alla bekvämligheter men rent, nyrenoverat och trevligt. Ligger nära hamnen med restauranger. Längre att gå om man vill till strand. De sk altanerna på rummen har ett djup på knappt en meter, men med havsutsikt, så de är trevliga att sitta på ändå.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Tolles Hotel für Kurzurlaub"
Unser Zimmer war klein und lediglich mit Bett und 2 Klappstühlten ausgestattet. Für uns hat es gereicht, da wir die meiste Zeit unterwegs waren. Die Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt und das Zimmer täglich gereinigt. Das Hotel liegt sehr schön, direkt am Wasser und in der Nähe vieler Restaurants. "für ein Hostal sehr empfehlenswert"
super Unterkunft mit klasse Frühstück! Umgebung ist sehr schön, da wenig Tourismus aufgrund des kleinen Örtchens. Dennoch genug Essensmöglichkeiten für abends. Für ein paar Tage optimal. Auto ist jedoch empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer (mit Balkon buchen) ist absolut ausreichend, jeden Tag kommt der Zimmerservice. Wie gesagt vom Frühstück und dem Hostal waren […] wir sehr überzeugt und begeistert, einzig das gleichnamige Restaurant, welches in der Nachbarstraße liegt, ist nicht zu empfehlen. Til trods for dårligt vejrlig ovenpå en kanonsommer nød vi 10 dage i Porto Petro og på Hostal Varadero Deluxe. Til fremtidige gæster skal der dog skrues en del ned på forventningerne til dette hostal, idet billederne på hjemmesiden ikke viser sandheden og decideret virker manipuleret! Men de er søde, venlige og serviceminded på stedet - og morgenbuffeten […] er fyldig. "hotel adatto per tutti"
Ottima la colazione e l'atmosfera (arredi, accessori, musica). Unico neo della camera: un lavamani al posto del lavabo...praticamente impossibile lavarsi la faccia senza lavarsi i piedi! Nel complesso direi che l'hotel merita per la posizione, il comfort e l'accoglienza.Genuine Expedia guest review
"hôtel sympathique et abordable"
Hôtel, très bien rapport qualité/prix. Personnel agréable, souriant et serviable. Par contre, salle de bains un peu petite et pas de séche cheveux. Ils pourraient ajouter des tables de nuit, une table et un miroir plein pied. Ce qu'ils appellent "terrasse" est en fait un balcon mais très pratique pour mettre les chaussures plein de sable et les serviettes […] de plage à sécher. Hôtel situé à Portopetro, à quelques kilomètres de Cala d'Or, au calme, loin du trop plein touristique de Cala d'Or. "Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super !!!"
+ Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist mehr als gut. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und vor allem das Frühstück ist ausreichend und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und kümmert sich sofort. - Die Bilder im Internet entsprechen nicht der Realität. Irgendwann in der Zukunft soll das Hostal so wie auf den Bildern aussehen....aber das dauert […] noch. Zumindest der Anfang ist gemacht. Die Badezimmer sind sehr klein, aber sauber. Insegsamt muss man das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehen und das ist super !!! Der Ort Portopetro ist ein noch etwas vom Massentourismus verschonter Fleckchen Erde.
