"Weekend get away"
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel for the price. We liked the pool and hot tub, along with clean rooms that have been well taken care of. The staff was nice, especially the support staff. We encountered the cleaning crew 3 times, and they were incredibly helpful and kind. Rooms were very quiet from all outside noise, which is a […] MUST for me. The breakfast was okay, not great. The juice machine was down both days, batter for waffles was watered down, eggs were very boring with no condiments. The staff quickly removed all breakfast items promptly at 9:30 with people waiting to eat, which was hotel policy, but bend a little, will ya! We were eating at the time, and listened to other guests discuss their frustrations concerning the breakfast hours and it's prompt end. Pillows were small squares, so bring your own for comfort. St. George was beautiful and had perfect weather for the beginning of April. Be sure to visit Zions, Bryce, Snow Canyon, or any of the many outdoor adventure sites. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The free morning breakfast buffet was outstanding - 2 waffle machine! The room was clean and up-to-date: microwave, half-size refrigerator, ironing board and iron, curling iron, and big screen TV with many channels. Fortunately neither of us got a single bite, so maybe they were vegetarian. The outdoor pool and hot tub looked very tempting, but we didn't have time to indulge. We passed a nice laundry, but this being a short trip, we had no need of it. The hotel is accessible either from Bluff Street or from Main and 2 minutes from the freeway.
