Colonial Village is in a perfect location to walk to restaurants or just walk downtown. The trolley will pick you up so you don't have to drive to the beach or Perkins Cove. The Hotel has a nice location. I got a room with a nice balcony and view of the sea Although it does have direct access to the beach, it is on reasonable walking distance of that access. "Colonial Village Resort, Ogunquit, ME"
This was just what we needed for a few days in Ogunquit. We couldn't afford the more central hotels but this one was still fairly close and gave us an excuse to use the trolley to go to Perkins Cove. Crossing the river to get to the sea was an amusing adventure. The pool was great. Only gripe was the 'Continental' breakfast.
