"Ogunquit River Inn & Suites"
This hotel, although designed to be a luxury property, which it may have been at one time, shows severe signs of lack of maintenance. The rooms should have been repainted some time ago. The door frames are rusted and not well cared for. The carpeting in the rooms is quite worn. The mini-fridge in our room did not work at all and had leaked water on […] to the carpet. Our room was only provided with two towels, no extras. This hotel does NOT have in-room wireless internet. Wireless internet is only available in the lobby. The advertised continental breakfast is served in the lobby, but food is not permitted to be carried back to the rooms. Only one trip is permitted to the breakfast area by means of a ticket handed out at check-in. After arrival, we found many other very nice hotels in the area priced much lower than the Ogunquit River Inn & Suites. The room had an extreemly bad odor, the floor had many stains, the refrigerator was dirty and damaged. The bathroom had evidence of others using the facilities. We asked for another room, that was better, but still needed some TLC. At check out the clerk indicated that they were fully aware that that room was less than ok.
