When I rolled up to this hotel after a 12 hour drive on a rainy night I sort of expected it to be sleazy. I was pleasantly surprised however. Although... it is an older style building, the room I was given seemed to have been recently renovated. No weird musty smell or strange stains anywhere. I know that's sort of a strange recommendation but having stayed in some really awful places while traveling, this place was literally a breath of fresh air. Also the heat/AC unit was quite new and worked really well as did the mini-fridge and microwave. Just a nice, simple, pleasant room for a reasonable price. Clean enough room. One of the better Super 8's I have stayed in. Forget the breakfast as not much of one. There is a Waffle House close by plus couple other places to catch a breakfast.
