I stayed at the Charles Central Hotel from Aug 27-29, 2012 on a business trip to Prague. Having previously lived in the city, I wanted to be in Karlin, and close to a Metro stop. Immediately outside the metro station and next to a tram stop, despite this hotel being outside the old town it is very quick and easy access to it. Large room, friendly staff and a good breakfast service, but the beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom very shabby. Also the curtains didn't fit the window and it was quite noisy. Good for students, but not for people who are used to a bit higher standard.

La posizione dell'Hotel è ottimale: a 25 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro (Porta della Polveri), con i mezzi pubblici è ben collegato al centro (la fermata della metropolitana è praticamente di fronte all'Hotel), in zona ci sono ristoranti e pizzerie (a partire dalla pizzeria Carllino, accanto all'ingresso dell'Hotel). Purtroppo il giudizio negativo […] espresso sull'Hotel è, nel mio caso, legato all'assegnazione della stanza (n. 81): posta all'ultimo piano, è stata ricavata da un sottotetto, con mobili di fortuna, bagno piccolissimo, senza accessori di sorta (solo un esempio, minibar completamente assente), materassi coperti alla bell'e meglio... Purtroppo non è stato possibile cambiare stanza (l'hotel era pieno, non so come fossero le altre stanze, ma dalle foto su Expedia risultavano diverse da quella a noi assegnata; altri hotel in zona non avevano camere libere a prezzi adeguati) né ottenere un rimborso (pagamento effettuato in anticipo): senza questo inconveniente il mio giudizio sarebbe stato più positivo. Det er et rigtig fint hotel, hvis man kun bruger det til at sove på, dog er sengen noget hård. Personalet er meget venlige, og rigtig søde til at hjælpe. Hotellet ligger op og ned af en metro (som er under jorden, så den ikke høres) så det er nemt at finde, og nemt at komme til centrum.

Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is perfect. Ontbijt is goed te doen. Onder het hotel zit een overheerlijke pizzeria. Tegenover het hotel zit de metro. Kortom een top locatie. Kamer is wat gedateerd maar dat is alles in Praag. Douche doet het perfect, de bedden kraken behoorlijk.
