The cleanliness was spectacular and the bed were so comfortable that we did not want to get up in the morning. The continental breakfast had a large... selection to choose from to satisfy the most exigent of palates. Even if the hotel is within walking distance from most must-see attractions is a bit far if you have toddlers. The hotel owner was very kind and took us to the historical side of town, while our room was made ready. We checked-in early and the staff was very accomodating to our needs. Located in Prague (Nove Mesto), Green Garden is close to Peace Square, Czech National Museum, and Prague State Opera. Also nearby are Charles Bridge and Wenceslas Square.

Founded in 1348 by Charles IV and redeveloped in the 19th century, the New Town originally played host to Prague’s craftsmen and tradesfolk. Many of the city’s cultural and civic institutions are here, including the National Theatre, the State Opera ,and the New Town Hall. The Green Garden is really good value for the money; the rooms are nicely furnished, high ceilings, clean with modern bathrooms, mini bar, tea and kettles for the brits (supply your own coffee) and small tvs with one station in each language. The breakfast buffets and cooked breakfasts are wonderful, the receptionist and hotel staff were friendly and […] helpful and the bar and restaurant were of a really high quality in keeping with the character of the hotel - ie, wooden salon bar with tables and chairs and music tv and pillared restaurant under a glass roof with piano music at the weekend.The only downside is that it is a little bit of a hike to get into any places of interest and not convienent if you are the type who likes to pop home for a rest after lunch. Being on the main road into the city, it can be noisey at night and for couples, you probably would want to take a car into the city at night if eating out rather than walk down the slighty shabby main road to the metro. But because the hotel is so affordable, using the hotel car service every night doesn't feel extravagant. For the price tag - highly recommended. Read more

Det et et godt Hotel med en central beliggenhed gangafstand til centrum , personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme, parkeringsforhold var også udmærkede. Der var dog en del ambulancekørsel, med udrykning, det var noget støjene. men det er jo en del af storbyferie.Ellers alt OK.

Godt hotel til pengene. Lidt gammel stil, med gulvtæpper over det hele, men velholdt. Vi fik et stort værelse med god plads. Handicap venlig toilet med god plads og badekar. God morgenmadsbuffet, med æg, bacon brød osv. Det ligger ca. 500 m fra metrostation. Kan klart anbefales.

wir, eltern mit 3 kindern im alter von 5, 17 und 18 jahren haben dieses hotel wegen der guten bewertungen gebucht. trotzdem war der empfang eisig, die rezeptionistin war nicht in der lage einen warmen empfang zu bereiten, lächeln ging garnicht und sprechen fiel schwer. das zimmer unserer söhne war ausreichend groß, unseres hatte die selbe größe, aber […] leider war es sehr eng wegen des zustellbettes unserer tochter. zimmer und bad waren super sauber, frühstück war okay, die sachen die in einem warmhaltegefäß angeboten wurden, eher kalt. ich hatte mir bei einem 4 sterne haus mehr komfort erwartet.das zimmer war viel zu warm, obwohl wir die heizung ausgestellt hatten. nach dem reinigen durch das personal stand das thermostat wieder auf 3. fenster konnten wir nur bedingt öffnen, da das hotel an einer hauptverkehrsstrasse liegt.
