"Extreme hard bed"
The hotel has probably one of the best location in the prague.. just a short "stone-throw" from the charles bridge, on the relatively quiet kampa island. Just 10-15 minutes walk an you are at nearly every interesting sites in prague. The hotel room was also nice and clean... But there's a big "but"... At tour you mainly use the hotel room for sleep.. […] most of the day you're out in the city, visiting the attraction, drinking beer and enjoying yourself. The bed was very hard to sleep on. It was close to sleeping on the floor. Because in the bed there were no ribs, just a plate at the bottom of the bed. The madras was very hard. "Prague, great location"
Hotel Kampa Garden is a great hotel as long as you do not mind a crappy breakfast. The room we had was spacious and quiet. The linen was clean and crisp. The reception staff was nice. The location was great as well. 1 minute walking from the bridge and in a pitoresk and quiet location. Perrrfect :-) The only downside: Don't go to their breakfast! There […] are 2 ladies working there who are more interested in sitting in the backoffice entertaining the kids they brought along. Most of the time the trays were half empty and the water-machine did not work. One they they did not have any butter. I mean.. Hello... You can run out of lots of things but something basic like that.... They did not even apologize... This really puts the rest of our impression of the hotel down by far.
