"Pretty grim experience"
Well this trip didn't start well. Turned up at 10pm, only to discover Check-in closes at 9.45pm. When I say check-in you actually pick up the key from the video shop next door. A fact hidden away in the email from Hotels.com. Had I known at the time of booking I would have looked elsewhere. So this cost me an extra night in a hotel nearby. The hotel […] itself is basically in need of a major refurb, it's a bit dirty, the entrance hall ahs a very strange smell and nothing is anything more than basic.
