Situated in Prague, Hotel Metamorphis is within a 5-minute walk of the Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square, the Old Jewish Quarter and Museum, and Tyn Cathedral. Charles Bridge is 1 km (0.6 mi) away, and the National Museum and State Opera are both 1.5 km (1 mi) from the hotel.

Located within a short walk of many of Prague's historic sights, this hotel is set in a centuries-old building with such modern updates as complimentary wireless Internet access. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk provide tour assistance and business and concierge services. A complimentary buffet breakfast is offered each morning with meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt, and fruit. The hotel's Italian-themed restaurant also serves lunch and dinner in a ground-level dining room, a 13th-century Gothic cellar, or on a seasonal outdoor terrace. Hotel staff can arrange airport shuttle service, and limited onsite parking is available (surcharges apply). In-room childcare/babysitting is available (surcharge). There is also a unique hotel beer spa. Hotel Metamorphis has 44 non-smoking guestrooms, all individually decorated and furnished. Rooms feature LCD TVs with satellite channels, and complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access. Coffee/tea makers, minibars, and laptop-compatible safes are provided. Private bathrooms include shower/tub combinations or showers only, bidets, hair dryers, complimentary toiletries, and makeup/shaving mirrors. Rollaway beds and cribs (infant beds) can be requested.

Prague’s Jewish quarter witnessed oppression and suffering for centuries before the Nazis invaded during the Second World War. The tightly packed, insanitary buildings of the ghetto were mostly destroyed in the 1890s, but the Old Jewish Cemetery and several atmospheric synagogues survived. Best is the Old-New Synagogue, dating from around 1270.

Bestilte en "suite" for en 2d avslutning i Praha etter skiferie i Tatra/Krkonose, men det vi her fikk var heller en "apartment" med av alle ting et komplett utstyrt kjøkken... Flott, bra og stort hovedrom men likevel litt overraskende å se en del støv på div. gjenstander - en solid rundvask kunne definitivt vært på sin plass. Stort men noe underinnredet/ukoselig […] bad, slitt utstyr og løse armaturer på kjk og bad. Kanskje på tide med en renovering? Dette var i grunn en ørliten nedtur etter å ha bodd på et std.dbl i samme bygning på samme hotell for to år siden - et rom som var MEGET flott og bra. "Metamprphis in Prague - close to town square"
Metamorphis is an excellent small hotel close to the heart of Praha. There is no fancy add-ons like swimming pool or gym, rather it consist of a set of building around a an old square. We were lucky and had a very nice room with a BIG bed and very nice bathroom with a tub, shower and separate toilet. Excellent. Breakfast is OK, in an old wine cellar […] or something.
