"Lovely Hotel, poor service"
This hotel has so much going for it but we found the service especially in the restaurant very poor. I don't think the waiting staff have a any proper training.There wasn't much organization and their knowledge of the food and wine was non existent. "Solway Masterton"
Overall a good experience. My only real complaint was having to pay for wireless internet. Having stayed in a number of hotels/motels recently the Solway was the only one that charged, all the others, internet was a free component of the stay. The facilites were excellent. Most impressed with the excellent service received - when goods left in room staff went to considerable trouble to ensure we received these quickly - at no expense to us. Really went that extra mile.
