The pictures give a wrong impression of the hotel. The rooms are not high quality and the service was not that great, the manager was the only one that could answer my question about how to make an outside call. My toilet didn't flush and when it did after 7-8 tries, you couldn't flush it again for the next hour. I was locked out of my room twice and […] I only stayed there 2 nights. The elevator was under construction. The pool was not cleaned and unavailable for use. On a positive note, the staff in the restaurant were very hospitable. The area that the hotel is in seemed a little on the under priviledged side of downtown area. The internet claimed that the hotel had a spa in it but all they do is massages. A hotel situated in the center of the city of Abu Dhabi with eating places and shopping places at walking distance. The staff was courteous and helpful. We found the business center and the computer terminals particularly helpful. We could not enjoy the swimming pool facility however that was available. "Facilities disappointing"
We had a one bedroom suite for 3 adults, therefore needed the third bed to be made up in the sitting room, and additional supplies for the kitchen and bathroom. These simple requests proved to be a huge problem for the staff. After check in we asked for the above to be done whilst we were out sight seeing during the afternoon and evening. On our return […] to the suite, nothing had been done. It then took housekeeping no less than 6 visits to our suite, to provide these simple tasks. Very smoky and run down hotel. Doors don't close. Bedsheets stunk of foul foot odor, our non smoking room was reeking of fresh cigarette smoke and fet very unsafe.
