The staff was extremely helpful. When I sent e-mail questions, they answered in a very punctual manner. The common area is quite appealing, and I was very happy with my room (I stayed on two different occasions). I really liked that there is a refrigerator in the room. The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous in all aspects - I was upgraded to a double room at the price of a single, so that helped. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, but it provided a very nice environment. This is a great hotel. Everything is done to make sure of a happy stay. Staff are excellent, rooms are excellent, and breakfast too...what more can l say! Dont expect to get parking on the nearby streets...I got lost driving to local secure parking in the dark. We spent 4 nights in Hotel Altair early in July. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them.The breakfast was plentiful and most enjoyable.
