"Good rates but..."
I recommend the hotel because it is well located and has very good rates for Cairo. However, many of the rooms are quite shabby with old carpet and furniture which do not make them very comfortable. "やや落ち目か"
22年前に鳴り物入りでザマーレク地区にできた四つ星ホテルで、今でも手ごろな価格で使いやすいホテルとは言える。ただし、設備は全般に古びてきていて、適宜に器機を新しいものに交換するというのができていない。テレビやエアコンは、そろそろどうにかした方がよい。スタンダードルームは相当手狭なので、使うならデラックス以上の部屋がおすすめ。1階のバーは比較的安価に各種のお酒が楽しめる。その点ではザマーレク地区では唯一と言える。ネット接続はかなり遅い。あと、ホテルと空港の送迎サービスが45ドルというのは、近隣の三つ星クラスのホテルの7倍くらいの値段設定でいただけない。日本人のビジネスマンの利用が多いのは、やはり手頃な価格帯に設定されているからだろう。Genuine Expedia guest review
"可もなく不可もなく"
創業以来25年近くの間に何度か宿泊したが、全体に部屋がくたびれてきた感じ。入室した時には部屋の電球が全部切れていた。スタンダードの部屋はかなり手狭だが、ジュニアスイートなどは安い割に快適に使える広さがある。書き物机は使いやすいが、卓上灯がないのが不便。レストラン、カフェやバー2種が一通り揃っているのはこのクラスのカイロのホテルでは評価できる。とくに1階のバーはザマレク界隈では数少ない手頃な価格でお酒が飲める。Genuine Expedia guest review
