"Great secluded hotel"
Stay was great! Location is quite secluded. Pools are great, views are amazing. Beach immediately off of hotel contains much sharp coral and essentially eliminates the possibility for swimming in the ocean. Fantastic hotel. Every single member of staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Pools and hotel grounds were beautiful. Complimentary cocktails every evening, and the singers were also excellent. Overall, cannot fault the hotel. Made our stay in Langkawi extra memorable. "Fantastic resort for relaxation"
Having chosen the Westin for my girls trip on the trip advisor ratings, I could not have imagined how fantastic this resort could be. The immediate views out to the sea and mountains are breathtaking, it felt surreal! The staff were friendly from start to end (our porter Anwar was amazing, very informative and cheerful), always willing to assist. "BAD Hotel-Dont stay there"
i reserved package free internet and breakfast for one. I had to call like thousands times to get the password to work. I stayed 2 nights and i had to call everyday and the wifi was super slow. Low standard of Westin indeed, the washbasin in my room was blocked and the shower handrail was broken I asked the front desk to fix while I was away also told […] the keeper. Our final morning at Westin, we decided to spoil ourselves with a nice breakfast as we had been eating out at the local establishment like hawker stores & Kopitiam with cheap food. "Westin Langkawi - excellent pool"
We stayed at Westin Langkawi for 2 nights. Infinity pool by the beach with swim up bar was excellent, shame beaches are not that swimmable (sand is sludgy underfoot). Facilities were very good, breakfast buffet had a very wide selection, however our room was a bit dated looking. The grout between the tiles in the shower were black and looked really […] dirty. The tiles themselves were also dirty looking and generally seemed worn and tired. Othewise, very nice place to stay.
