The hotel is in need of some updating but the owners had work going on while we were there. Things like bad patch jobs on walls and a need for a fresh coat of paint brought down my rating. Econo lodge is actually a motel/hotel, but don't let that put you off! Econo Lodge is a lovely family-run establishment and they were helpful from the moment we arrived. The rate was very reasonable and the hotel was next door to their restaurant and offered guests 15% off on top of a reasonably priced menu. (Please note that the upstairs rooms are […] more private than downstairs as the upstairs rooms have inside corridors as well as the public balcony.) The room had many facilities, including iron, hairdryer, microwave, refrigerator, phone, tv, free wireless, air cond. "Quiet, clean, convenient"
Stayed in Miramichi for a wedding. My daughter and I were at the hotel for two nights and our experience began with the properietor allowing us to check in 90 minutes early, after we'd been on a train for 18 hours.
