"Disappointing"
We have been staying at the Coastal Inn for more than 6 years and it had always been a comfortable, affordable choice. This time, however, it was disappointing. Our "queen-sized" bed was barely a double. The lights over the bed were impossible to reach from the bed and impossible for one reader to use without bothering the non-reading partner. The cable […] system was difficult to decipher and limited and the coffee was terrible. Way too expensive for all these problems. "great stay until we had no hot water in am"
We were initially pleased with the hotel. When we got up to no hot water we were not impressed but thought - it was probably an issue that they could not help. When we explained the situation to the man at the desk, he just acted surprised - no apology offered - no concern to him. We were NOT impressed with the attitude. We will be in the Sackville […] area frequently - and unless other spots in the area are booked - we will probably avoid this hotel - attitude counts!! We paid for a room expecting a comfortable bed and hot water for a shower - the bed was comfortable - the shower was not - in fact - we were unable to really shower properly - it was just too cold! We were not camping! A simple recognition that this was an issue concerning the comfort of our stay - which he did ask about - was all that was necessary. Why bother asking the question if there is no intent to address an issue. Interstingly enough - we heard others offered a card for a review - we weren't. We chuckled at that!
