I picked this hotel with the impression from the photos it was a newer hotel. It's not. Staff was great. We had a small trailer and there was plenty of space for parking. The room was old. I found a hair in the shower and a peanut butter cup on the floor. Also, we had a fold out couch day bed we wanted for our daughter but ended up not using due to […] not being sure the sheets were changed from its last use. They didn't appear dirty, but the bed was far from being made as they were just a big heap in the middle. Cleaning definitely needs improvement. We will be staying elsewhere next time we are in Cda. "Reservations don't mean a thing"
I reserved adjoining rooms but was told when we got there that there were no more left, they had given them all away. I told her I had reserved them and she very flippantly said well they are all gone already. We were there to check in between 3 and 330. "it is what you expect"
room was not dirty not unclean, but well worn. Staff was great . Breakfast was oknothing dnamic. elevator was working ,but floor was dirty andrug hadn't been washed in a long time. "I'd Go Somewhere Else"
We booked this stay at the Comfort Inn in Coeur D'Alene as a stopover. Overall the hotel had a icky, dingy feel to it. You can see filth on the door jams, baseboards and throughout the hotel. In our room, you could see filth in the crevices on the floor, in the grout etc. The entire place needs a hard, deep cleaning. The breakfast was typical, but the […] layout was completely chaotic. It was crowded and people could not easily get in and out of the very small eating area which was adjacent to the check-in counter. At least one of the waffle machines did not work, and they were constantly out of supplies. The female employee who was at the front desk was also responsible for the breakfast. There is no way to do both those tasks in a timely way. Every was constantly bumping into each other. This was the second or third worst hotel experiences of my life and I absolutely would not stay at this hotel again. I may not stay in Comfort Inns any more because of this experience. The motel is in the middle of being renovated. The service staff were friendly, but the breakfast was a joke. They were constantly out of things and would bring one thing at a time. With so many waiting, that would be gone right away. Then they would bring one more thing and the same would happen. We would have our eggs, but nothing else. I was very disappointed in my stay at this hotel. The room cleaning staff at the hotel was horrible. My young son had an accident on one of the beds one night so I removed the linens and put them on the floor for them to replace with clean linens. The staff that cleaned the room just put the wet sheets back on the bed and remade the bed with soiled […] linens. They never cleaned anything, never stocked towels or anything else, and left our room smelling like ciggarette smoke. They would leave their supply room open which smelled like their smoking room. Their cleaning cart also smelled like smoke and it would make the entire hall smell like smoke until they left. It was a terrible experience and I will never stay at any of their hotels again. "Cheap construction makes for a noisy stay"
Rooms are decent but the walls a paper thin. Beds are a little hard. We were on the first floor and could hear a rollaway suitcase rolling down the hall on the 2nd floor. Every hallway conversation was clear as a bell & the plumbing upstairs reminds you of a waterfall flowing through the walls. "Crappy sleep, dirty pool, and brown "warm tub""
This hotel is in desperate need of new beds. These ones felt like they were at least 20 years old. We had a horrible sleep because the rooms are not very sound proof. Heard someone walking in the room above us for hours, people walking down the hallway at all hours of the night, people going up the stairs at all hours of the night. Breakfast was okay. […] Ran out of eggs (the one real protein there) early and took almost an hour to get new ones. Had one toaster which took seriously 5 minutes to toast bread and the other side of the toaster didn't work because the handle was broken off. Pool was dirty and hot tub was nasty. I wouldn't even call it a hot tub because it was luke warm and had a brown tinge to it. ICK! Wouldn't stay here again or recommend it unless major renovations are done. The hotel was booked by my friend, simply because of cheap hotel rate. The staff were wonderful. The free breakfast was great. The room had a strong odor and did not look clean.
