"Pricy for an average stay"

"New, Clean Hotel - Poor Customer Service"
The hotel attendant was on the phone when we arrived - not a problem, but it was seven minutes (we counted) before she even acknowledged our presence. A simple "be with you in a minute" would've sufficed. Additionally, we'd reserved a room with a king bed, but we were told that the hotel was completely booked & we'd have to settle for two doubles. It's […] hard to believe that explanation - we checked in pretty late (11:00 PM) and there were about 20 cars in the parking lot. The hotel itself was very clean (if a little tricky to find), and the included breakfast was quite good (sausage, eggs, biscuits, bagels, fruit, etc). "Make sure to get a room facing the mountains"
Overall this hotel was adequate, what we expected, the bed was not overly comfortable & the drapes didn't close so the sun wolk us early. Upon arrival the receptionist was rude, unwelcoming & had attitude which was totally uncalled for & unprofessional. The following day the rest of the staff we encountered were very nice however. The hotel is very […] clean. It's too bad that one staff member left a bad taste in our mouths. When we asked for a referral for a restaurant she was no help whatsoever.
