My husband and I stayed at Elysium for a 3 night stay. They didn't clean our room every day unless you instructed them to, which was fine with me. The... studio room was like a hotel room but had a microwave and basic items so you can eat small meals. There was also a patio which was nice. The hotel was almost at the end of the beach strip of "Palm Cove" but it was great to walk down to the beach and visit the shops along the beach. There are small grocery markets, internet cafes, and restaurants 5-10min walk from the apartments. The Cairns Zoo was just a few minutes away as well (which is an awesome attraction by the way - would definitely recommend it!). I liked Palm Cove in that we were in between Cairns and Port Douglas (ate and visited all three cities). Lovely vacation! We ate at Apres and Elysium had a discount with them as well as the restaurant right next to the apartments. by a Hotels.com guest on 05/20/11

Location.
Situated in Palm Cove, Elysium Apartments is by the ocean and close to Palm Cove Beach, Cairns Tropical Zoo, and Clifton Beach. Additional area attractions include Kuranda Koala Gardens and Tjapukai Cultural Park.

パームコーブのビーチサイドの通りからちょっと歩く場所にある小ぢんまりしたアパートメントで落ち着いた滞在にもってこいです。部屋は完璧に清潔。オーナー夫婦（？）が住み込みでやっているようですが、フロントの開いている時間が限られること、開いているはずの時間でも不在の場合（連絡先電話番号あり）、対応が英語オンリーなど、人によっては不安に感じることもあるかもしれませんが、フレンドリーでよい人たちです。アパートはホテルと別物と思ったほうがよいようです。レンタカーで動く方には、ケアンズ市内を拠点にするよりもよいかもしれません。動物園すぐ、スーパー近く、キュランダらくらく、ポートダグラス、モスマン、デインツリーへもよい距離です。家族の中でもここにしてよかったねと話しています。
