We were very comfortable. We enjoy the free internet and parking. The breakfast was great. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant because there aren't any restaurants within easy walking distance. The dinner was tolerable, but reminded me of cafeteria food.

The hotel was great, it looked really fresh. The room was quite spacious, had a big bed, nice bathroom with a shower cabin. The towels and bed linen looked new. Also the room was equipped with a hair dryer, iron+board, A/C. Overall, our room left a very nice impression. Breakfast was good, did not expect such variety. Considering the price of the rooms, we were very surprised at the standard of the hotel - room was large and clean, bed was comfortable, shower was superb - all in all, we could not have asked for more if we had paid double the price! Our Sat Nav struggled to find the hotel, and it did seem a bizarre place to have a hotel, but it worked overall.

Enjoyable but slightly disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, particularly the shower, which had long dark hairs in the shower tray. Otherwise an enjoyable stay with friendly staff.

Quite easy to find, lots of free parking. Big enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids (in fact adults slept on the 'smaller' beds whilst kids had huge double bed). Stayed overnight with my son between tennis competitions. Ideally located close to M54/A5 and tennis club in Shrewsbury. Previous night stayed at a Travelodge in comparison this was luxury. Situated on a small business park just off the A49, 2 miles from Shrewsbury it was easy to find and offered the amenities and rooms of a much higher priced hotel. […] If this is Hilton's budget type hotel aimed at travellers then it gets a big thumbs up. Staff very friendly and attentive, comfortable lounge, ample free car parking. Rooms are on the spacious side, well appointed and very comfortable. Only down side but didn't present us with too much of a problem was the free wi-fi was not working during our stay. Overall would recommend and return. Read more

Ideal Place to stay on the outskirts of Shrewsbury. Stayed here for one night as a wedding was nearby. Easy to get to, staff very helpful and polite, would stay again if around the area. Only down fall, not enough tables for breakfast. Overall a good stay :-)

I am used to being disappointed by misleading reviews encouraging me to book hotels that prove to be rubbish in one way or another. As Hamptons is apparently a stripped down budget business hotel brand within the Hilton chain, I thought it might be a bit dull and was expecting another disappointment. The room was spotless, and was like new. The shower […] was the most powerful I have encountered, the whole hotel was clean, the staff were knowledgeable and courteous and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel was on an office park just outside town, so it was very peaceful in the evening. Forget Travelodge for conservative short stay hotels, I will be using these guys again. Read more

We enjoyed a two day break at the hotel, where the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good and it was great to come back at the end of the day and have a light supper and drink in the communal area. It is only a ten minute drive into the centre of Shrewsbury where there is plenty of parking […] and lots of individual shops. Stayed for 2 nights. It's really difficult to find much in the way on constructive criticism. The wireless 'high speed' internet is not really. But it rarely is in a hotel, and don't forget, it's included at no extra cost. The walls in the room had one or 2 scuff marks - pretty much like any other hotel. The room was very clean though. Bed was queen […] and comfortable. Flat screen TV with freeview channels. No bath but excellent, large shower and lots of wall dispensers for shampoo, body wash, moisturisers and soap/shampoo. Staff were very friendly yet professional and it seemed to be a good team set-up with everyone getting along. Smallish bar/lounge/dining room but perfectly nice - good food generally. I sampled a chicken supreme pizza (stuffed crust), best pizza I've had in a hotel. Also had a curry (balti?), again, perfectly good. The fish and chips I had the following night (Friday night) less good but acceptable - prices pretty reasonable. Decor throughout was modern and contemporary yet welcoming. Breakfast consisted of hot plates with selection of scrambled egg, baked beans, sausage, bacon, potatoes, also toast machines, cereals, good selection of fruit juice and tea/coffee (good machine). It is not quite walking distance to the town and the location in a business park is strange for a tourist - but highly useful for anyone on business. My only experience of hotels has generally been airport hotels at Manchester and Gatwick. They have generally been twice the price and half as good. Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay there again, either as a tourist or a business person. Read more

Quiet budget hotel situated on Industrial Estate. Only offers (complimentary) breakfast which was very good. You would need a car to eat out at other times. Fantastic value for money, paid the same for this hotel as friends paid for the nearby travellodge and we weren't dissappointed. The stafff were so friendly and caring, even down to a call 15mins after we were shown to our room to check everything was ok with it. The hotel is located in a business park, so not many fantastic views but close the main roads for access to surrounding area.
