Our stay was fantastic the room was modern and beautiful , we had an ocean view with all the comforts of home ,including a fuzzy blanket for tv watching... .the only downfall would be the office accessibility was too far and hot tub hours closed to early other than that we had a great stay will recommend ! Hotels .com did not tell us that we would be out side In a condo ,but that was fine very nice unit !! Ice was a bit of trouble , for drinks , had to go too the front desk ..... The hotel was beautiful and, most importantly, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were excellent, and the whole atmosphere was conducive to relaxation. One criticism could be that the hotel was in the middle of nowhere, so that local life outside the hotel could not be experienced. OK, but there has to be a balance, especially if you […] are travelling. On our 1 week on Vancouver Island, the Black Rock was the most comfortable hotel to stay in - but people must be warned that they must have their own transport. Read more
