We stayed at the hotel for three nights in August. We were two families with children. The hotel it self is beautiful, the view is magnificent and the rooms were very big, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff was very nice and on our first night, the restaurant was full, so they served us dinner in a private room. The only problems were: […] the water in the pool were not hot enough, there is no room service, the cleaning of the room was not as good as expected. "Black Rock Oceanfront Hotel: An archetectural gem"
This place is so pleasing to all the senses that I never wanted to leave the hotel grounds. The entire place is like a series of group of Seven Paintings. (Canada's most illustriious artists to date). The views from the huge picture windows change with the outdoor light and with boats and birds that fly in and out of view. The architect is a genius. "Black Rock Resort"
The rainfall shower head was broken. It would not stay on unless the button was physically held out. Hotel staff came to fix it and told us to, "use something to hold it out", then quickly left. We were not impressed by this. Also, there should be a very visible and much larger sign indicating that the fireplace in the entrance way to the resort can […] cause burns. My 5 yr old leaned her shoulder against it causing a very sore red burn larger than a toonie that still hasn't gone away. The location of the washroom is a poor design in that when the washroom light is turned on at night it lights up the entire room. For these reasons the rates did not reflect the quality. "Einfach traumhafte Lage am Pazifik"
Luxus und Wohlfühlambiente in der gemieteten Suite, dass einem der Atem stockt! Auch das Frühstück à la carte und das Abendessen im hauseigenen Restaurant mit Blick auf den Pazifik ist nur zu empfehlen.
