"Duffin Cove a resort in the corner of Tofino"
We arrived after 10pm and the desk clerk wasn't going to give us our paid reservation because they had gone to bed for the night. She agreed to do it because she was still awake. Our room had a beautiful view of the cove which was its only redeeming value. The room was so tiny I had to climb through my hanging clothes to get to the bed. The hide a bed […] for our 3rd person was a single and sat right in front of the balcony doors with about a foot of space between the other side and the foot of our bed. The balcony was covered in cat hair so we had to wear shoes to go onto it. The beds were very comfortable but the rest of the room was really showing wear (wall paper peeling, cracks in sink and tub, door repaired from a break-in of somekind. The entertainment center was way too big for the size of the room. It took up too much space for what was on it. Sorry to say but the cottage by the sea is really a shack by the sea. The furniture is dated and worn out, the floor tiles are chipped, there were spider webs in the windows which hadn't been cleaned in ages. Generally, things were good and the staff was very halpful. However the foldout bed was very uncomfortable and seemed to have mold and dirt inside it. Although we took our own dishes for the most part, the one plate from the unit that I did use was not too clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
