"Family vacation"
We had a pleasurable stay, the location is beautiful, every room has a view, fridge in the room very convenient, comfortable beds. My only complaint would be the price for the room was high and that the front desk could not initially find our reservation. "Great location - not great food"
This hotel is right on the beach and a short drive to town. The only down side of the location was it was so close to the beach that our room got smokey due to beach fires. Otherwise the perfect spot. The restaurant was not as good. The prices are on par with very good hotel dining rooms - very expensive. I expected to pay these amounts given the type […] of hotel. However the food quality was not up to this standard. Nothing was really bad but nothing was great either. I would stay here again but I would drive to town for meals. Really liked this hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious with a fantastic view of the beach. The hotel has a restaurant but we arrived on a Saturday evening and told it was all booked but if we went back at 8.30 there may be some room. On returning we were then told that the restaurant was closed.. It would have been nice to know that the restaurant would […] only be open for a limited time before we got there so we could have made other plans. Enjoyed stay at Tin Wis. Hotel is in a beautiful location although a bit remote but I was aware of this prior to booking. Hotel decor & standards excellent. Staff very friendly & helpful. This was an excellent hotel to stay in. Clean, comfy, lots of towels etc. Open the balcony door to the sight and sound of the ocean.
