"not as advertized"
we stayed on the 2nd floor, it needs a update. They have painted over the wallpaper, small holes in bathroom wall. Window sills are dirty. I would not go back, the pictures they have on web site are nothing like the room we got. Thank-you for the emailGenuine Expedia guest review

Hotel was okay, what you would expect. It is close to the aiport (within about 10 minutes), but still needs a shuttle to get there. "Ordinary hotel for family on the budget"

"it was ok but didnt get the room that we booked"
We booked and prepaid for a business room and we were given a standard room. That said, it was midnight when we got there and we had a 5:30 shuttle booked so I didn't feel like making an issue of it. "Close to the Ferries and Airport. Victoria not far"

"Good option for catching the early flight"
It was in a perfect location for anyone wanting to catch that early flight out of Victoria. We left very early, but the muffins and things were already out there for guests - pretty impressive seeing that we left at 5:30 am! It has a free shuttle to and from the airport, another bonus. "Just Okay..."
Size of room ( with 2 Queen beds) was on the small size. There was not enough space on the floor to open a suitcase, unless it was on the bed , or in the luggage rack. Fridge was not turned on. I asked for a wake up call that never happended. Thank-goodness I had an eye on the clock in the wee hours of the morning, or I woud have missed our flight. "For Value Over Glitz"
We wanted an economical hotel close to downtown Sidney and to the highway. Yes, no frills is what wanted and that's what we got. Except for noise from jets at the nearby airport that start at 7:00am it was not bad. The room was basic hotel and was average for most things like cleaniness, ammenities, etc. To be fair we stayed in the "older part" of the […] building. The trade for this was the best rate aroud for a room. Several good restaurants within walking distance and downtown shops too. THE BIG PLUS here was the front desk staff who dealt with a taxi issue on our behalf, recommended restaurants, plus a few other items. "Convenient location but overpriced"
This hotel was acceptable but we had a few issues. The toilet was blocked when we arrived. The desk clerk brought up a plunger but said all he ever does is drop it off, it was up to us to plunge the toilet. When my ten year old grandson and I asked the front desk about the associated restaurant we were given directions, but it turned out to be a pub […] with no family seating area. "Convenient to airport"
We stayed only one night at this hotel. It was what you would expect for the price. The pool area was nice and my daughter enjoyed the pool. Our room was on the outside wall of the hotel. Our window looked onto a three foot wide cement patio with a nine foot cinder block wall behind it. The most depressing view we have ever had from a hotel. "Depends on what you want"
The computer was a pay by the session contraption which I have never seen before having always been provided with free service to print out items in other venues. The continental breakfast was disappointing - fridge cold boiled eggs, two cereal dispensors( cornflakes and some puffed stuff), bowl of tired bananas, two loaves of store bought bread, cookies […] and muffins set out near a toaster and a small selection of yogurt. There was a coffee/hot water dispensor. It is convenient to airport with a free shuttle and close to the ferry to the mainland if that is all you want, but it is not up to what I would call frequent traveller airport standards. "There has to be something better"
I travel extensively on business and try to stay in Victoria before flying. The sole reason is because I have not found a hotel near the airport that is very good. The beds are uncomfortable and hard. The front desk clerk on all three occassions that I have stayed here are not friendly at all. Actually they are very grumpy, which I think is very unlike […] BC people. The walls are thin. All in all this hotel needs an upgrade in all cases.
