It was a lovely departure from a standard chain hotel. the rooms were a lovely peak in to era long gone, with all the amenities of the present. The host... was lovely and extremely helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delic! The only minor comment is you should have a car with you if staying there. Downtown Victoria is a bit away. I felt I was welcomed as if I were a friend at the Amethyst Inn at Regents Park. My hosts were friendly, always willing to help/ give directions or leave me to myself when I wanted that. The building and decor were magnificent, particularly in the breakfast room. I felt I was experiencing life in an era long gone. I really valued seeing inside the houses […] in this area of Victoria.
