CAME TO VICTORIA FOR A FUNERAL, AND WAS SOOOOO DISSAPPOINTED IN YOUR HOTEL. THE CARPETS DIRTY,NO SHOWER,KNOB IN BATHDUP MISSING, VERY NOISY IN BACK ROOMS, MOST OF THE LAMBS DID NOT WORK.ORDERED A SALAD WITH TOAST, GOT HALF A SLICE OF TOAST COULD NOT EAT SALAD AS THE CUTLERY WAS MISSING. "Terrible stay."
The staff was incredibly rude, they said they had wireless internet but the signal is too weak and doesn't reach all the rooms. The room was smelly and the bed incredibly uncomfortable and lumpy. "Disappointed."
We go to Victoria for a holiday every year. We have looked at the Gatsby many times from the outside and on this trip decided to stay there. Luckily for us we only stayed one night. It is a beautiful location, and looks elegant on the outside, HOWEVER, the hallways are smelly, in poor condition, and our room was FILTHY. There were cobwebs throughout […] the room and in the bathroom, coffee split on the wall in the bathroom, and a dirty bathroom floor. There were dead bugs on the window sills, need I go on. Upon check out, we mentioned our concerns to the clerk at the desk, and got a very uninterested "oh, I'll pass it on".
