We booked online and got a very good price. I'm glad I read the reviews and decided to stay here. It was perfectly adequet for our needs. We were only... staying one night and were gone from our room most of the time. Everything was clean. The lobby was impressive and the staff answered questions about directions to places we wanted to go. There was a pool, a restaurant and elevator. The only little complaint I have is that there weren't any towel bars in our bathroom. Everything was clean and the decor was soft pastels. We walked downtown-only a few blocks. We stayed for one night while visiting Victoria. I wanted to be near downtown, which it was. However I would not return here. The beds were rock hard and water was leaking down from our bathroom ceiling. The staff were nice but the overall condition of the hotel was pretty shabby.

We came to this hotel due to its low price and good location. The location is very good, quite close to the city center (although not suitable for a walk with small children, but only 5 minutes by car and there is plenty of parking near the city harbor). The problem was the night club that shares a wall with the hotel and was right below our window […] (it is actually the same building..).. the noise from the live rock show that was there at midnight was so lowed that our windows were banging from the bass tones and making noise all by themselves.. it was like being in a rock show with your bed... never had such an experience. besides that, the hotel is cheap, the beds are clean but the overall feeling is of minimum maintenance (stains and marks on the walls, old elevator, etc). also, many people smoke at the hotels entrance. Walking distance to downtown, but not sure I'd walk it at night. Glad they're remodeling...old and tired. Even fixed up it wouldn't rate with the downtown hotels. Noisy, right off main street, out of tourist area. Truly no air. Not bad though for a cheaper option on dry, cooler days.

Good price of hotel to be this close to the downtown area. Everything is within walking distance, so for budget minded travelling this is a good pick. Beds are not the most comfortable we have ever slept in, but they were ok.

We had such trouble finding this hotel because it's not called Traveller's Inn, it's called City Centre. We stayed at the back of the hotel which is right beside a very rowdy bar that normally spills out about 2.30 so we asked to switch rooms after the second night to which they obliged.
