"Great place by the inner harbour"

"Helpful and Friendly Staff"
The staff went out of their way to make our experience a great one. The front desk workers were wonderful and gave super suggestions on places to eat and things to do. "worth the price"
Our 1 bedroom is big and fit our family of 4 with 2 queen bed. We're so impress with the price vs. size of the room. It's really worth the $$. Everything was good but they do not allocated the best rooms in the hotel - we had trouble operating the shower. The knob kept jamming and the water was going from very hot to very cold while showering - not a good experience! Parking could be a problem. The PROS: We had booked a room with two queen beds, but was upgraded to a room with one queen bed in the bedroom and one queen bed in the living room/kitchen area. This was nice and it added for more privacy away from children. The bathroom was located outside the bedroom in the hallway near the entry door. There was a portable airconditoner in the […] bedroom which was nice, but none in the other rooms. The CONS: The shower was pathetic! It actually ruined our morning, becuase the water pressure constantly changed from very hot to very cold. It was miserable. I think the reason my stay was not as nice as it could have been was because I was on the second floor in the same hallway as the hotel cleaning supply room and directly above the entrance to the hotel. Good location!! We enjoyed our 3 nights stay. We had a 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds, it was clean, comfortable and the maid was very accommodating. The front desk staff were friendly and informative. Only complain was the service in the restaurant on the top floor (great view though), it was so slow both times when we were there. At our first visit we […] waited 15 minutes to get seated although there were plenty of tables available and we had a reservation, between salad and entrée we waited 30 minutes, finally we waited another 20 minutes for our bill. Our 2nd visit to the top floor restaurant was just for a cocktail (didn’t want to chance the dinner), we sat there for 15 minutes was like we were not there. Finally we moved to the bar so we can order directly from the bar tender. However the food was good there. Have stayed here many times for the same annual hockey tournament in Victoria. Stayed in 1 Bdrm suite 1102 for 3 nights...booked online. We stayed in Victoria and had no idea really what the hotel would be like. It looks very nice pulling in and we were recieved nicely by the front staff. The rooms were clean and looked very nice. The bed the first night was horrible and it sloped towards the middle. I complained about our sleep and even though there was a big marathon on this weekend […] and all hotels were booked they switched our room right away and the bed was much much better. The Hotel location is blocks from the marina and parliament building and has nice places to eat within walking distance. The Hotel itself has a phenomenal bar and there is a restaurant on the top floor. The pool area is clean and nice and deep too. Overall i would stay again and I had a pretty good time.
