We loved having the hotel so close to Mohegan. It was very modern, clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly. The room was a very good size. The complimentary breakfast was great! "Great for an overnight at the casino"
We stayed at the Hyatt while we were visiting Mohegan Sun. The location is perfect, so close, and the shuttle they offer was a great bonus. The hotel is very nice and clean and the room was very spacious. I'd stay here again next time we went to the casino and didn't want to pay the crazy room rate there. Our stay was very nice and it was 1 exit from Mohegan Sun Casino. They had a van shuttle that ran about ever 15 min. It was busy at the hotel because of two things...the recent storm and the Robin Williams show. My wife and I were very pleased with the entire Hotel. It was very clean and the room was quite comfortable. I was offered a room on any floor I wanted. The only problem we had was with the television. There were 5 channels that had no signal. I notified the front desk and they sent their engineer who apparently unable to fix the problem. This was a great place to stay! We enjoyed the free shuttle to/from Mohegan Sun and had no trouble getting on despite it being very popular. The rooms are spacious and well-designed. I hate writing reviews. But this place is in immaculate condition and was super convenient to Mohegan Sun Casino. The hotel itself is only 1 1/2 years old but shows no sign or wear or tear. The ice machine on our floor stopped producing ice so I let the desk know. less than 30 minutes later the maintenance guys had it pulled apart and it was working […] when I passed by an hour later. There is also a shuttle to Mohegan Sun (which I did not use) that seemed to be running every 15 minutes or so. "Excellent Choice near Mohegan Sun"
The Hyatt Place hotel in Uncasville, CT was lovely and more than met our expectations! Located five minutes from Mohegan Sun, the hotel was convenient and provided free shuttle service both to and from the Casino. In addition to the shuttle service, guests received a free gambling voucher to “spin the big wheel”, as well as a $10.00 dining voucher […] good for any restaurant at Mohegan. On the day we were there, the shuttle ran every half-hour from 4:00PM until 1:00 AM and the shuttle driver was extremely friendly. Rooms were modern, clean and updated, and although hotel was extremely busy, no hallway noise could be heard from our room. Breakfast was good but lines were long and crowded. Hyatt Place Uncasville did not live up to our expectations. The shuttle service to Mohegan Sun is great - runs until 2am on weekends. The room and lobby were nicely appointed, especially the 42" flatscreen tv and comfy bed, but otherwise nothing special. We were very disappointed to find the complimentary breakfast was only a continental breakfast, […] with few choices. Even the muffins cost extra - as did the hot eggs. The front desk staff was busy cleaning off tables during checkout hours, so there was a wait. The indoor pool is good for laps, but there's no jacuzzi. We'll stay elsewhere next time.
