We stayed for overnight business trip and hotel was easy to accesss with exit right off the highway but as other reviewers have said the hotel is NOT... in a touristy walk around location so keep that in mind. The staff were friendly and check in was super fast. Room was comfortable and clean although I did miss the hook on back of bathroom door to hang stuff (note for Manger if reading)...hot buffet breakfast was quite nice and one of our deciding factors and why we now choose Holiday Inn Express over other hotels. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we would gladly stay again next time in Hamilton. One last thing, there was a Golden Griddle Restaurant right next door. I was not impressed with this hotel for several reasons. There were TOO many speed bumps in the parking lot; very hard to find (not easy to see the signs on how to get to the hotel); have seen nicer and better bathrooms; no extra blankets or comforter avaliable in the room to use as there is only the 2 sheets on the bed and was cold while sleeping; […] had difficult with the room key; noisy door (slaming) from room beside my room carried into my room; the size of the bed didn't seem like the one that I had requested.
