Average Hotel. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was OK. Had we to do it again, we would not stop in Sydney. Nice Board Walk behind hotel that allows one to walk four or five blocks along the water. Close to police station.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Cambridge Suites, Sydney, NS"
When we booked were offered a Harbourview suite. The room wasnt cheap so I assumed we would have a pretty comfy stay. Our room ended up being on the basement floor, opposite the service and laundry entrance, ice machine and all. Our room overlooked the parking lot and we could see the feet of everyone walking by. We also had to pay for parking at the […] hotel, something I had never had to do before. Small things were also that the room was directly below the restaurant, the blankets were mangy and wooly and there were no laundry bags and such in the room. Also no mini bar. "Cambridge Suites, Sydney - close to everything"
Cambridge Suites was very close to everthing we were in Sydney for. My two areas of complaint were the extra charge for letting my pet stay, when she is house trained and created no extra work for staff and the hotel did not supply soap and shampoo for showering.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"There is not a lot to pick from in Sydney Nova Scotia"
Most of the city of Sydney Nova Scotia is run-down looking and so is the area around this hotel. The only other hotel of similar quality, a Delta, is only a few doors down. The hotel is located on the water, with a public boardwalk at the back of the hotel, which allows about a 20 minute walk. It appears the area is as good as it gets and the walk is […] very pleasant and relaxing. The hotel is okay, and in another city would bee seen as not the best value for the price. But good for Sydney, so worth the stay. The contienental breakfast included with the room was was below par. If you enjoy breakfast go somewhere else.
