Lodging at Yellowknife is generally pretty mediocre, but the Days Inn was just fine. Our room was clean and quite modern, the staff was helpful, and the... location was perfect; we could have walked anywhere in town if not for the -30 C temperature outside. Just make sure you have your car in the lot at a reasonable hour, because there are only so many plugs available. We were in a suite in the building across the street; a minor inconvenience but worth it for the kitchenette (eating out in YK is really expensive, so it was nice to be able to eat in). by Peter from Boston on 03/19/13

Central location with all major city attractions within walking distance. Clean rooms and efficient maintenance. Friendly staff. Oh, and PJ's Roadhouse has the best pizza I have EVER tasted!

The restaurant was very poor service over an hour to get breakfast! 2 eggs and brown toast only !! the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would stay again just find somewhere else to eat!

I stay in Yellowknife regularly and find this hotel or even it's suites rooms across the street to both be the preferred choice for Yellowknife. It is located downtown, fairly quiet, easy parking especially compared to other hotels downtown and it's located to most amenities, malls, post office and numerous restaurants.
