We recently stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon and I have nothing but great things to say about it. The staff was very friendly, always asking if there was anything that we needed from the beginning to the end. They upgraded our room for no reason, and it looks just like the pictures online. Gorgeous rooms, very comfortable beds. There was not […] a microwave in the room, but we called and one was delivered to us at no cost immediately. There are a couple different places to eat in the casino, and we were also able to exchange currency there. The sky train is literally right across the street, which was so convenient. Two different worlds, same address. Hmmmm Night and day, the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The casino staff were not pleasant at all. I don't get it. My wife and I, celebrating our 20th anniversary, decided to Visit Vancouver right after our 7 day cruise to Alaska. We decided on the River Rock Casino and Resort because we like to play a bit, we got a great rate, and the transportation to the sights were very convenient. I had contacted the concierge desk by email and worked out some details prior […] to our arrival. They were so nice and helpful. They arranged a stretch limo to pick us up at the train station at a price you would expect to pay for a cab. I had booked a city view suite and was assigned a nice room on the 9th floor. I later asked if a Marina view room was available because the view of the Fraser river is much better. They graciously moved me to an awesome view room accross the hall the next day at no additional charge. We were welcomed with a beautiful plate of chocolate covered strawberries in our room and an anniversary card. The service was excellent and the suite was very nice. The casino is of good size and offers gaming options similar to what you would find in Vegas. The difference is no smoking and no free drinks and the slots weren't very generous, to us anyways. We didn't spend much time there after the first night. The concierge however was great. Each morning we went to the desk and indicated what we would like to do that day. They provided us maps, directions, discount coupons, and offered to make the reservations for us. We couldn't have asked for more. We only used the food court in the casino once for a quick burger and had breakfast in the room the last day and both were fine. We ate most of our meals in town where there were numerous dining options. The Canada Line Skytrain had a station connected to the hotel which made travel to downtown Vancouver a snap. I also got a great rate, better than many other hotels of the same quality. The suite was fantastic. However, the noise was very disturbing!!!! You can hear every single thing people say out in the hallway when you are in bed . Not usually a problem but at 2 then 3 then 4 in the morning it is not very appropriate.!!

Was an excellent Hotel. The check in was a little rushed. There was a line up. We chose not to valet park but had to use the bell girl anyway as there are no carts for luggage available with-out a bellgirl. The room was over our expectations and that is hard to find. We were impressed with the Green features. The concierge in the hotel was the best. […] She provided us with everything from maps of the area and the trolley tour. She even told us where to eat and things to see. Being able to purchase tickets for the trolley right there was very convenient as well. The skytrain station was right there as well.This made our stay and tour of the city the best. We arrived back to our room to a treat and card from the concierge. The best service you could ask for.We were able to see and do all of the things we wanted right from the convenience of the Hotel. We would highly recommend!!!! Read more

Really great service, and beautiful room. However, I was dissapointed in the selection of restaurants. It was my honeymoon weekend with my wife and we had to drive around richmond for an hour trying to find a decent place to eat. Despite that, I would definitely stay there again!
