    Hotel was old and in need of updating. The capets throughout were stained and the room smelled musty. The Rooms were large but outdated and dingy. Lots of traffic on three sides.

    Very dirty and unappealing hotel, but you can't beat its proximity to the airport and the Skytain. It's perfect if you've come in on the late Cathay Pacific flight and just need a place to crash, but it's very noisy and terribly maintained.

    This hotel was below my expectation. The room was barely clean, and everything looked used and old. The elevator barely fit my luggage and at night you are constantly greeted by airplane noise. The only positive note was hotel was relatively inexpensive when compare to other hotels around.

    This hotel is really 'tired' and in need of updating. The bed 'linens' looked like they had been reclaimed from a local shelter.     The hotel is just old and not well kept. The walls are thin and you can hear luggage in the hallways a mile away. Common area carpets were not clean. The staff was pleasant enough. Next time though I'll spend a little more and stay in one of the several hotels near this location.

    The restaurant/ lounge in the hotel was never open regardless of the scheduled hours. The hotel upkeep was not very good... old counters, carpets, torn lino etc. The hot tub and garden was very nice though.

The wireless internet barely worked when I was there and when I called the front desk to ask about it the person on the other end of the phone was aggressive and unhelpful. Most of the equipment was damaged and dusty and the floor was full of miscellaneous debris.     The hotel design is for a warm climate. The outdoor air hallways were far too cold and damp for a Vancouver hotel. They did not provide free shuttle to the airport as we left too early in the morning. The restaurant food was disgusting.

    This is the second time we have stayed here and this time the room was deplorable. We were supposed to get two beds but got one very uncomfortable double bed. The bedding was disgusting and I kept thinking it was filthy...because the room was dingy and dark...could not sleep at all.

    The only persons I would recommend this hotel/Inn to are budget minded and not comfort orientated people. The reason I would recommend this hotel to a friend is because it is inexpensive compared to most the hotels closest to the airport and the fact that it does offer the Airport bus (which is a free service as a guest) and the staff are pleasant enough. […] Other than that, it is older and it shows, my tv did not work, it was very cold (I could not find a thermostate anywhere) and the bedding was mediocore at best.     Have stayed here a few times in the past but found hotel has not been upgraded since then-certainly not our room. Staff was very friendly; however, there was a power outage and we had absolutely no auxilllary/emergency lights. Had to turn on my laptop to see anything. Very dangerous situation.

    Although for a very short stay (two times) leaving and arriving back at Vancouver Airport we found the hotel adequate-and reasonably priced, it does leave some things to be desired. We found the room felt like it had not been thoroughly cleaned, and sheets were wrinkled and well worn and would not stay tucked in. The shampoo was partialy used as well […] as some other minor concerns. In fairness, the staff was very friendly and we were told we were given an upgrade and maybe that is the case The desk clerk did call and ask us if everything was okay and we said yes as we did not want to have to move to another room when our stay was only for about 8 hours.     Service was...there. Staff was not very personable and they were more concerned with the phone than the customers at the desk. The room smelled strongly of mold. The bed was very uncomfortable and the mini fridge in the room was loud. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
