What the website didn't show was that the pool heater was broken. My kids that are used to swimming in the cold ocean water only lasted 3 minutes and the rest of our evening was full of unhappy kids.     An average hotel nothing special.. The free breakfast was simple carb heavy with waffles and biscuits and gravy being the main dishes. The place was dog friendly which was really nice. I would say the biggest highlight was the staff very friendly without being overly attentive. Very slow elevator we took the stairs whenever possible.

    Reservations, check-in/out were all very simple. At 8:30am there was still plenty of breakfast available. Basic room, I didn't need much more. If I had to gripe; the front light bulb was burned out and there was a burn mark in the carpet in the shape of an iron. :)

    If you want to be close to the Portland Airport, choose a different hotel. The address listed in Vancouver was deceiving - I thought it would be right across the river. Hotel is pet friendly, so there were many dogs. Bed was comfortable.

    As the title says, we got in around 9ish but the night desk person talked much too fast and seemed rather 'programed' in telling about the information of the hotel. Also, the parking for this hotel is TERRIBLE ! We have a truck and had to go to the parking lot of the building next door to even find a space big enough to park it. When my husband complained […] about it to the desk girl, her reply was, "Oh that's my fault". He didn't need to be humored with that kind of a comment. One of the days, only one bed was made and the other just left unmade. It didn't appear the floor was vacuumed at all during our stay.     We have stayed at this hotel before and were satisfied with it. This time, the rooms were dirty, the bed looked "messy", The bathrooms was not clean. Our non-smoking room smelt like old smoke. And the coffee service did not have coffee. On checking out, I asked for a comment card, there were none, but she did offer a scrap of paper.

    When we arrived the desk clerk was no where to be found, the bellhop kept looking for her (15 mins. later she appeared) to check us in. Upon entering our room, we were immmediately hit by the smell of smoke!!!!! It was in the curtains, carpet and even the shower curtain!!     For the price this hotel was adequate. My family was disappointed that the pool was closed all weekend. I understand that things happen. It was very noisy at this hotel, and I'm not sure if maybe the lobby music was so loud we could hear it in our room while we were trying to sleep. The free breakfast was outstanding and included waffles.

    Not real sure how well they really clean. We did not use coffer maker every day but did use our cups, but they we're not replaced everyday. The remote to the TV was made into the bed.     During our stay at christmas. So many people stayed at the hotel. Breakfast was so crowded. You couldn't get a table, took along time to get your food. Only one waffle iron. Chritmas Eve 5 card were broke into and the hotel wouldn't cover anything. They said our insurance had to pay for damages. It's to bad they don't back their patrons...

    Acceptable hotel, low price. The hallways smelled strange and the bathroom smelled of stale urine - I had to clean it with clorox wipes and still couldn't get rid of the smell.

    We had an Ok stay at La Quinta, but really don't like the amount of dogs that were staying at the hotel the one night we stayed there. We were aware that they were dog friendly, but its just a bit too much dog friendly for our liking.     The lobby is very attractive in a woodsy, fireplace lodge effect. My room had a sink in the room not the bathroom. The bathroom was my only disappointment as it was small, showing age, tight to get into as the door nearly swings to touch the toilet. The king room itself was sufficient in size and features.

We had our van broken into at 1:45 am by the suspect smashing a side window. We were parked in the front of the hotel with full lighting and surveillance active.     The pet-friendly hotel is in good shape and clean. The front desk was polite and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The pool was warm but no hot tub. Our room was dimely lit making reading difficult. Also, the tvs are outdated and the channel selection not great. The light in the bathroom was out and after telling the front desk they promised to fix […] it but didn't during our 3 night stay.
