"Second visit, hair in tub both times"
The hotel is not kept up. The cleaning staff does not get the rooms clean. This is the second visit in two years time. Both visits we found hair in the shower/tub. This current trip the door was missing the peep hole viewer, it just had an open hole where the viewer should have been. Very disturbing. I have spoken to the Engineering Department so the issue with the peep hole can be fixed for you, as well as future guests. Things like this should not happen to any of our guests and I’m deeply sorry about this. "Only if you like cold showers"
The shower would produce cool to cold water but not warm or hot water which made for a terrible wake up call. We then went to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant and received poor service. Won't come back here again.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Expected better"

Red Lion Hotel at the Quay in Vancouver bar and restaurant has a quaint Pirate of the Caribbean type theme with a great view of the Columbia River. I met a business colleague for drinks at the hotel's "Quay Bar." My colleague had ordered dinner before I arrived. He reported that the waitress had messed up his order. To get over his trauma, we settled […] down to have a couple of rounds of drinks to forget his woes. At 10:00 the waitress announces "Last Call." We were shocked to realize that our ship had already sailed. I thought the captain always provided his crew with rum rations after a hard day at sea. We ended up walking up the hill two blocks to a Hilton property to satisfy our parched throats. We had breakfast in their "Pacific Grill and Chowder House" the next morning and the waiter messed up my breakfast order. My acquaintance was amused to hear my Aarghs over my misfortune. "Air conditioner rattle all night"
Recently stayed in Aug 21-23, 2011 - the building is old but quite clean, however the air conditioner rattles all night, it comes and goes which was very distracting and I hardly get miuch sleep. I notified them to fix it but nothing changed. I think the attitude is that, "That's an old air cond, what do you expect from it?" "Mediocre and poorly maintained"
This hotel may have once been nice, but now it is run down and poorly maintained. I was sent to multiple dirty rooms before they found a clean one. The pool was murky and hot. I have stayed at this particular hotel many times over the years, mostly on business. During my entire stay, the internet service was terrible and the cable television (I believe they are on satellite) was mostly offline or unavailable (all channels). "Run down hotel with rude dining experience"
Our waitress "Steph" was quite rude right from the start which put a bad taste in my mouth for the remainder of our stay. I asked for the manager as I was going to request a new waitstaff however, they never bothered to show. "Hotel qui eu des possibilitées mais décevant"
Cet hôtel est vieux et mal entretenu. La propreté est laissée à désirer. Par exemple il y a un micro-onde dans la chambre qui était très sale à mon arrivée et qui est resté sale durant toute la semaine semaine.
