"Great Stay in Canmore"
This was a great deal and I'm so glad we stayed at the Georgetown Inn for part of our honeymoon trip! When we arrived the front desk staff were so friendly and wanted to talk about our trip and give us directions and recommendations. We stayed in one of the Elizabeth rooms. While small, it was definitely adequate to fit our needs. There was a small […] kitchen area with a sink. The bathroom was clean and had a nice shower head. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well in it. I normally never sleep well in a hotel! There was some noise from the restaurant on one night, but it ended early and I was not bothered. We also weren't bothered much by the noise of the trains in the night even though we faced the track. The absolute best part of this inn is their breakfast that's included with your stay. It's delicious! I particularly liked the apple french toast, but you can't go wrong with any choice. It is so good that other hotels in the area recommend going to the Georgetown Inn for breakfast. We had a wonderful stay at th Georgetown in. The value was tremendous for that area. We especially liked that our room (Victoria suite) had an anteroom with a fireplace and comfy chairs where we could decompress in the evenings after a long day running around the wilderness. Had a great stay here - very helpful staff and the surroundings were like a canadian version of an english pub with a quaint bar downstairs that leads to an outside courtyard. This was our second time staying at the Georgetown Inn and was perfect. We stayed here for our 4th year anniversary and the rooms made it that much more. The rooms have gas fire places with a cozy sitting area and an amazing view of the mountains in the background. Staff were quite helpfull and they even have boardgames on site which was not expected. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer passt optimal zum gesamten Erscheinungsbild des Inns. Wer es gerne […] ruhig hat, ist hier aber an der falschen Adresse, da auch ein gut besuchtes Pub zum Haus gehört, in dem an den Wochenenden schon mal die Post ab geht. Uns hat dies sehr gefallen, so mussten wir nicht mehr lange nach einem Pub suchen und nach Mitternacht war auch Schluss mit Musik, so dass wir noch eine sehr erholsame Nacht hatten. Das Frühstück wird untypischerweise serviert. Zum Zimmer haben wir einen Gutschein bekommen, der für ein beliebiges Frühstück auf der Karte eingelöst werden konnte.
