This complex is not the resort, not even the regular resort. Do not expect too much. Also this complex is right next to Highway 1, amazingly noisy. If you are going to stay here, never, ever, stay at the units right next to the highway. "Great family vacation"
Everything was great except the reason we chose this hotel was for the heated swimming pool and the hot tub. The swimming pool was NOT the temperature they stated and was FREEZING cold. The hot tub was not open the first morning and when I called the front desk I was told it was down for the day. Thankfully it was open before noon. "Mystic Springs Chalet and Hot Pools"
The chalet was clean. We liked that there were 2 double beds in the one room so our teenagers had plenty of sleeping space. We were disappointed that of the 4 nights we were there, the hot tub was not available for 3 of them due to maintenance issues. After a day away, it would have been nice to relax in the hot tub. The pool was heated, but was still […] quite chilly for the kids to play in. "Ok if cleaniless is not a concern"
For the price this condo was ok. Housekeeping standards were not up to par. Carpet, floor, stair bannister were dirty. Fridge drawer was not clean, dirty dishes from previous guests in cupboard. Applicances in dire need of a wipe down. We definitely left the condo cleaner than when we arrived. The upstairs bedrooms were hot with no air circulation. "Mystic springs"

"Ladies w/e away"
We had picked the Mystic Springs Chalets and Hot Pools because of the hot pools. Unfortunately the pools were closed for furnace replacement, and they made no compensation or arrangements for us to use any other pools in the area, not even at their sister property!!! Rather disappointing! The units are all undergoing renovations so there were no curtains […] up on the lower level, though they did come and hang blankets at the window. The chalets were great for 4 or 5 ladies to a unit because of the bedding, 1 king, 2 doubles and a queen hide abed. Units would be no good for handicapped though as both bathrooms were upstairs. "Pass the soap we need to do a load!"
Check in was smooth. The chalets are attached like condos they are not individual chalets. Our condo was facing the road. It was very noisy outside but once inside you could not hear the traffic. Condo was clean however we did have a few issues. The remote for the downstairs tv was not working. The tv in the master bedroom was not working properly and […] then there was the dishes. We were a group of six. Every time we reached into the cupboard to use a dish it was dirty. Now I am not talking about a few specks here that the dishwasher didn't get. I am talking about someone used the dishes and then put them back in the cupboard without washing them. As a result were were left with very little to eat on and had to wash a load of dishes before we could use them and then of course re-load before we checked out. Also a little clarification on the hot pools. There is no hot pools. It is one hot tub and a swimming pool that was cold. I got this condo on a promo and plan not to return.
