Very comfortable with very helpful staff. Only complaint is the breakfast. The croissants, muffins and strudels were cold, straight out of fridge.

A most pleasant stay for a total of three nights. Two on the way to Banff and one on the way from Jasper. Breakfast was awesome. Room was very roomy and well kept. The refrigerator and microwave were an added bonus.

I'm really glad we decided to stay in Canmore for a few nights, even though the real destination was Banff. It was so nice, we ended up spending more time in Canmore. The server in the dining area took the time to mark out important wildlife sites for us to visit on maps, and gave us ideas for driving to them. I thought that this was hotel was great (free wi-fi, clean rooms, great breakfast, nice people working in lobby, great location, inexpensive hotel for the area), except for a few things: noise of the frequent trains behind the hotel and strange parking set-up. The hotel room is too small - especially the bathroom. The hotel is right next to the railroad track and we got disturbed by the train at night. The breakfast is good. There is a water slide that kids will enjoy very much.

This hotel is located in a very nice location. However, I ended up paying for a north side room with view of the mountain, and I ended up with a rail side room with trains going back right into the night (I mean 2am!). Even with windows closed, it was DO NOT get a room on the rail side! Even though I had mentioned that to the front desk, they did unfortunately […] not budge because it did not show on their end. The staff was very nice though. The room I was in was very small and left very little space to move around. It gives new meaning to no frills accommodation. The bathroom was tiny with very small shower. The beds are comfortable. The best part of the stay was the breakfast,, which was REALLY good. I think the staff could be a bit more friendly, but other than that, the buffet was worth it. Superior to many other hotels. I was impressed! This is a good option if you want to be nearby Banff, Alberta, and it is quite a bit cheaper. However, but paying an additional $20, you can find a larger room right in town without the hassle of tiny spaces. Though the hotel overall was decent, the freight train made for an unpleasant stay. Good hotel, nothing fancy but a nice clean place to stay. The breakfast that was included was good and ran later which was nice. Hot tube and pool area was nice but had lots of kids running back and forth to the waterside. Great views of the mountains. Good hotel for the price!

The pool is cold but the waterslide is fun. Not much space for the large buses to turn around the end of the building, its not a great sound to hear a bus scrap against the building. But overall it was a good stay.

This was our first stay at the Ramada Canmore. We stayed in a 2-queen bedroom on the road side (quieter than the rail side) on the 3rd (top) floor. We really enjoyed the pool & waterslide & 3-story high winding spinny waterslide! The hot tub was nice too with powerful jets. The view of the mountains from the pool was really nice too. The ice machine […] on our floor wasn't working, but it did have a sign letting us know to use a machine on another floor. The room was very simple, but clean and had a nice view of the mountains. The TV was a little on the small side, and it would have been nice to have the option of ordering movies on the TV. The bedding was very cozy, but I found the mattress a little too firm for my liking. The complimentary continental breakfast the next day was fabulous! With different brews of coffee, varied juices (apple, cranberry, orange, grapefruit), hot scrambled eggs, hot sausage links, assortment of pancakes, waffles, assorted breads and bagels you could toast, assorted muffins, danishes, mixed cereals, butter, cream cheese, oranges, etc - what a great selection of all-you-can eat delicious complimentary food! We decided to go away on a romantic get-away and have a jetted tub. Needless to say the jetted tub in this "deluxe king suite" is a jetted tub in the shower. That was disapointing. Also a lot of family and children running through the halls of this hotel. I guess the water slide brings them in. I didnt read that this hotel was right on the train tracks. […] Not a problem for me since I can sleep through anything but my other half was very unhappy listening to a train every 2 hours in the night, not to mention the shadow it casted on the wall. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel as it was convenient to both the town and the highway to Banff. There was a safe in the room which added to the security of our valuables. This is necessary as the hotel is not secure from outsiders (anyone can enter the side doors without a key). Good for a skiing weekend. Nice staff and a good breakfast. Our room was uncomfortably hot and we all had a hard time falling asleep, which was unusual in February. We did appreciate the corner shower, nothing worse than shower curtain clinging to your legs.

We've used the Canmore Inns & Suite a number of times when we are travelling in Canada. Its about 1.5 hrs from Calgary airport which is ideal after a trans-atlantic flight. For the price, this is a nice family hotel. We like it because you can go right out the back to walk on the trail systems and get to downtown. The kids like the waterside. Hot tub is a little small. I'd recommend the second floor, as the first floor seemed louder. Plus we were close to the pool and you could hear the screaming of children on the slide […] and people constantly up and down the hall. Good breakfast buffet included. Almost everything was great. The only disappointment was the bed wasn't as comfortable as hoped (a little hard) and the Continental Breakfast that I had been looking forward to was very disappointing. The hot food was stale and cold although the yogurt and fruit were fine. Overall, not too bad of an experience.

We arrived a few hours before check-in time as we were to attend a wedding. The young lady at the front desk put a rush on our room & we had ample time to get dressed for the event. Our room had a beautiful king size bed as well as a pull out sofa bed.
