Third floor, near elevator close to breakfast buffet. Lots of little kids. Ask for quiet room if you don't like the pitter patter of little feet burning around. Firstly the jetted tub is a very good way to relax at the beginning or end of your day. Our bath salts are sourced locally by a company in Canmore, Rocky Mountain Soap Company. The towels in the room that you occupied are standard, and if you did need more, please call down to our 24 hour front desk and they would be happy to accommodate your request. The location of the hotel is very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and bars. We are glad you had the opportunity to take advantage of that. We did have a few hockey teams in house during your stay with us. We do try to keep the teams together by opening up our Ball Room and provide several games for the hockey teams so that they are all in one room. We do advise both the parents and team members upon check in that quiet time is at 10:00, and they must adhere to this curfew. Our Hot continental breakfast buffet is located on the main floor of our west wing, so it was very convenient for you to enjoy breakfast. "Big name but just fair service"
Initially when I called to make a reservation, I asked for a room with two queen bed and I explained that I have two kids with me. When the booking was completed, I received an email and it had a room with double bed instead of queen size bed. I mentioned that to the girl and she said she won't be able to change and transferred to another girl. I explained […] it to her and she spoke with the hotel a couple of times and to her accounts section and said she will charge me $34 and refund back $34 as described to her by accounts department. I agreed on that. When I reached hotel after 9 hours of tiring drive , I was told at the hotel that there is a room with double bed booked for me which was upsetting. I explained again to the receptionist at the hotel, he called his manager and then he charged me around $11 cash for upgrade. He said nothing he can do about it and he also mentioned that this happens a lot with hotel.com bookings. So it wasn't a very good experience considering a big name like hotel.com and Ramada. Also there was no house keeping done during our 2 days stay. When my wife used iron, she found it to be rough on the surface. Overall it was a good stay, with two major faults. The first one was the room faced the railroad and and there was a lot of traffic. We were not given the option of getting a room facing the other way. Stayed overnight on a trip from Alberta to BC. Hotel was a Ramada (brand sets some expectations) and was the least expensive of the hotels we checked. Hotel could be much better than it is.
