    What a great location, only a few steps from the airport bus and a few more steps to all of the historic sights and sites. Had a room at the very top... of the hotel which was perfect for catching cross-room breezes on unusually warm days for a São Paulo winter. Lively during the day, livelier at night, but I never felt for a moment that there was any danger -- just employ common sense that you would use in any major city around the world, whether that's London, Madrid, New York City, Beijing, Los Angeles, Sydney, or S.P. A quick walk to some great shopping (and on weekends, especially Sunday, a great outdoor market). A bit longer walk to sites like Pátio do Colégio, Catedral do São Paulo, Mosteiro de São Bento, Praça da Liberdade, and even MASP or the Picanoteca are walkable if you've got an adventurous spirit and good walking shoes. Lots of good gay life around the area too, very friendly and welcoming, but don't let the straight folks shy away, it's a very fun and friendly bairro. by Kenneth S  from New York, NY on 07/20/11

    Conveniently near the airport in the heart of Sao Paulo, Republica Park Hotel is close to Republic Square, Municipal Theater, and Sao Bento Monastery. Also nearby are Banespa Building and Pinacoteca do Estado.

    The hotel was rated a 3+ but it is more like a 1. The hotel rooms were outdated, carpet at least 30 years old, smelled, just not the hotel room i was expecting based on your ratings.

    The main advantage with this hotel, is the central location near the bus to the airport. The street outside is a real party street so it can be noisy. There is no soundproofing so bring ear plugs.

    Primeiro o hotel não tem garagem própria, a indicada é cara e precisa dar um retorno enorme para colocar o carro. As condições elétricas e hidráulicas são ruins com fios aparentes e vazamento nos banheiros. Conforme é anunciado o hotel teria WI-FI e não tem, pois não funciona. O café da manhã é fraco e alguns funcionários não são solícitos como esperamos […] no atendimento. As camas adicionais no quarto, nada mais é do que uma poltrona aberta.     Gostei bastante. Só fiquei preocupado em sair para caminhar a noite, pois o hotel fica ao lado da Rua Aurora, e essa rua é muito estranha para passear com família. Mas, de resto, tudo bem. Espero ser contactado quanto houver promoções nas diárias.

    O carpete dos dois quartos em que estive estava velho. Com isso, o cheiro fica desagradável. Um outro ponto importante, este sobre a localização do hotel, é que a noite o som dos bares e das pessoas falando atrapalha consideravelmente o sono. No hotel todos os quartos são de frente para a avenida principal.

    The main advantage with this hotel, is the central location near the bus to the airport. The street outside is a real party street so it can be noisy. There is no soundproofing so bring ear plugs.

    Hotel was very cosy and super well situated in the city. The park might be a bit unsafe especially at nights but as there is all the time lots traffic in the streets, we did feel rather safe anyway.

    Séjour agréable malgré des nuits difficiles en raison d'une chambre donnant sur la rue (bruits en journée du trafic routier). La localisation est parfaite pour accéder au plus vite au métro ou être à proximité du centre.

    al desayuno tienes que compartir la mesa con otros huespedes porque el salon es muy chico, bastante incomodo. Los colchones son duros e incomodos, muebles viejos. A la noche la zona se torna peligrosa, mucha gente alcoholizada, transexuales en todas las esquinas
