"One star service"
The hotel was great, but the service was poor. I went outside to use the pool and have lunch, but was told the pool area was full and was turned away. I then got recommendations for a museum from the concierge and asked to be certain the place was open as it was a holiday and was assured it was. I again asked a bell staff on the way out and was assured […] it would be open. After paying $50 to a cab to get there, the museum was closed due to the holiday. When I informed the staff of this, I was told, "oh". I then asked for dinner recommendations and the same thing happened! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your time sharing your impression about Grand Hyatt São Paulo and for bringing the problems up to our attention, we deeply regret your experience. During summer time, the hotel external swimming pool might get at times very busy , we have taken action to reinforce the staff and create alternative external areas beside the pool. We have 3 other restaurant facilities at the hotel, the Japanese restaurant Kinu also features external dining area with pool view as a nice alternative to the pool bar. We hope to have you back here at the hotel soon to give you a special attention and offer a nice experience at our pool. We really regret the problem with the museum opening time, as a standard procedure, our concierge team should have called to double check the dates and schedules. Please accept our sincere apologies on behalf of the whole team. We look forward to have you back in our hotel some day.
