"Don't Waste Your Money"
This hotel has a lovely concept and layout, but the service is terrible! The spa is extremely unprofessional and disorganized. Any hope of "Zen" will be lost. The staff in the hotel is poorly trained and therefore meals and everything else about your stay will be a huge frustration. This hotel is trying to be a five-star hotel, but it does not have […] the experienced staff to make this possible. Most of the staff has minimal English skills and appears to have no experience in the hospitality industry or western culture. Our experience was so bad, we cancelled all our spa treatments after the first day - it wasn't worth the hassle! Be prepared to pay US dollar prices and sweat bullets if you eat in the Five dining room. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Hoi An, which is about 30 minutes away. Apparently the hotel offers local tours, which we found out about on our comment card when we left. It will be a long time, if ever, if this hotel is able to produce the type of experience it is selling. We live in Vietnam, so our expectations are realistic. All our staff are extremely committed to learning and attend English classes with our full-time, in-house expatriate English teacher to improve their language skills to ensure no miscommunication. At same time, I would like to advise that currently our starters in our main restaurant are about $8.50 for a starter, $20 for a main and $6.00 for dessert. We also have our Asian Fusion Set Menu in Fusion Lounge Hoi An which is only $11. All the local tours are available at our guest relations desk, as well as on the displays of our spa program in the restaurant, the spa and reception. We met to discuss your feedback during your stay and once again our sincere apologies that we did not meet your expectations during this visit, but look forward to welcoming you back again for a new experience.
