"RUDE EMPLOYEES, WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS..."
I personally think that the staff can make a break a hotel, & in this case they SUCKED. And the staff members at this hotel were awful. I got lost on the way there & when I called to better directions the idiot at the front desk was no help at all, not to mention it was extremely secluded & on a dark side street. When I FINALLY arrive he took forever […] to check us in & when we got to the room THANK GOD it was clean. When we tried to turn the heat on, it didn't even work so we called the front desk & he came & unplugged the unit & did something to the thermostat then it came on; but it didn't work all that good. When morning came & it was time to catch our plane the guy at the desk was asleep, I mean out cold. I told him we were checking out & he typed on the computer on for a minute & didn't say anything. I had to ask for a receipt & I still didn't get one he said it was "too early to check out" & that he would email me my receipt, I still haven't received it yet. The shuttle bus driver was so reckless ( I mean it's 430am there was no reason to drive that crazy), then had the audacity to wait for a tip. ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? I think that those employees were awful & should b reprimanded. I can't complain about the rate bc it was the best deal I got while in NYC. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Sad"
Where to begin. I had to stay overnight as to not travel by car in the snow storm. All hotels where booked that I normally stay in while on business to NY. This hotel was it. I am 5'6 and my feet hung over the bed. Good thing all the stuck snow plows and tractors where right outside my window all night and morning so I didn't have to worry about the […] feet hanging over as I didn't get much sleep. Not to forget that I could hear every noise my across the hall neighbors would make. Breakfast was slim, but okay. Not much room to move around when everyone is up trying to get something to eat at the same time because breakfast ends so early. Oh and the best part is that I needed to be out of my room by 11, but no one had plowed the parking lot. At least 5 of us customers shoveled the parking lot by hand just to get to our vehicles to be able to put our belongings when we get kicked out of our rooms. The money you guys saved on not having to pay for snow removal should have went to our room cost for shoveling the snow for you. And naturally when you see a brown guy like me shoveling a hotel parking lot, all your other customers yelled at me for not being better prepared and ordered me to clean their area too so they could get to their cars. It was not a nice feeling having to explain to more than three of them that I did NOT work there. What an odd situation to be in. Don't worry, I told them how sorry I was that I could not better assist them and took the yelling for you guys. I was so happy to finally get out of that place and on my way home. I am a grown man and left that place in tears. If i ever get stuck in NY again and this is the only place to go, I will sleep in my car instead. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
