"Beware of Mandatory $16/day parking fee"
Overall-a nice hotel.excellent breakfast. Two things detracted from my stay. First was the mandatory $16/day valet parking fee-which was NOT disclosed to me when I booked. "Strange location"

Most Embassy Suites have interier Atrium lobbys. That's why there are windows that face the atrium and windows that face outside. I have been staying in this hotel every month for over a year now and it is generally very good. However this month they were crowded and I got a smoking room even though I requested non-smoking. I spent an hour trying to leave a wake up call. Could not get anyone to pick up a phone. Went to bed and didn't sleep well worrying I'd wake up too late. The room was spacious and fully equipped with a refrigerator, wet bar, coffee maker and microwave. Beds were comfortable and the pillows were ample. The complimentary breakfast with the made to order omelettes are delicious. "Careful - Hidden Costs of Time & Money!!"
After three weeks I have had enough! Cold showers, slow service, slow elevators, birthday parties for kids at breakfast (noisy!) ... not a place for business travelers. ONLY PARKING IS VALLET!! If you arrive late Friday (after 8:30), you can park free in garage - under adjoining building. Good until early Monday morning. Otherwise, you have to pay for valet parking (and tips).
