"No Party Policy is not enforced"
The room was comfortable and the hotel was easy to find with lots of dining options close by. However, you must sign a "strict no party policy" at check-in that appears to mean nothing. When we commented on the policy, the girl at the front desk replied "Oh you really haven't stayed with us before!" Uh OH! We knew we were in for it when we drove around […] the back to find our room and college kids were appearing out of the bushes with cases of beer under each arm. We were kept awake by yelling and screaming and carrying on until about 4 am and the hotel management really didn't seem to care. In my opinion you can make a room as comfortable and clean as you like, but if you can't sleep due to a tremendous amount of noise what is the use? "Didn't even stay the first night"
We arrived at the hotel at 10pm, and when got to our room on the 3 floor (no elevator), found out the crib we requested wasn't there. Since the phone wasn't working, my husband went to the reception and the lady that was there said she couldn't find where the cribs were and that we had to wait another 30 minutes for someone that was coming in. "Hyatt Lacks customer service"
This hotel does not value customer service and has consideration for extenuating circumstances. I had a very unexpected death in my family. I reserved this hotel after finding out, because I had planned to drive from Austin to Dallas that afternoon. I called an hour later to cancel once I found out more details about the memorial service, and they would […] not cancel my reservation without a one night stay penalty. They said I was within cancellation and there was nothing they could do. I've been in the travel industry for several years, and I feel this is horrible customer service. "Needs updating and a bunch of minor repairs"
I visited a friend at this hotel about 3-4 years ago so that's why I selected it . But now the stucco building looks very dirty (nasty), the grounds are not well manicured at all-I had to get some febreeze to spray the room-We switched rooms after the 1st night because there was a nasty looking stain on the carpet, a bug and the musty antiquey smell […] was too much.
