Hotel was very acceptable. Very spacious rooms and clean. We only stayed one night, but it was perfect. Plus they extended our check out time until 1pm due to our children not getting to swim in the morning. They were putting chemicals in the pool and were nice to let us stay a little longer. "Close to Sequoia National Park"
Overall was a very nice stay. There are plenty of vending machines, ice machines, good continental breakfast, good room conditions and directv for cable. The only draw back is if someone is handicap or has a lot of luggage and is put on the second floor since there isn't an elevator at this hotel. "An uninvited spectator while making love"
I had the most embarrassing experience of my entire life. My husband and I were in our room at about 3:30 p.m. Without knocking a motel maid suddenly came into our room and we were completely naked! I let out a blood curdling scream, she then stepped back into the hall and began knocking on the door. I was completely humiliated. I called the front desk, […] I gave my name and room number. At first they said that they didn't have our name listed,and then said that the maid was delivering a newspaper, then said she was there to double check cleanliness of the room. The conversation ended with her asking what she could do. I did not hear back, so I called and she apologized and offered me a drink at the bar. Wow! She said the maid said she knocked. My husband and I are positive she did not. this was by far the most embarrassing thing I have ever experienced. We booked our weekend road trip at two different Best Western Plus hotels. The first was pristine and everyone was friendly. Night two was booked at this hotel and it was the complete opposit. The clerk who checked us in at night seemed drained and tired. She was still nice but I would not want to bother her.
