"Needs improvement"
Most important thing to me in a hotel room is cleanliness. My bed was not clean - found pieces of old french-fries on top of the blanket ! The sheets had hair on it and the looked worn down. The rooms were old, needed to be updated. Carpet was very dirty would not walk on without shoes. Homeless people walking around area. Observed people in rooms with people visiting for a short time and then leaving. Didn't feel real safe. Would not stay there agsin. You get what you pay for. "not the greatest"
I requested a non smoking room which I may have gotten but it smelled like it was at one time (recently) a smoking room. The shower had hairs on the wall which made me wonder how clean it was and there was only 1 wash towel which was either dirty or stained so I didn't use it. I was also surprised that there was no clock or coffee maker in the room.The […] continental breakfast was stale and the regular coffee was empty and I was sure that the receptionist saw me trying as I said I would take decaf but she just looked at me as she was on the phone. When I returned it was still empty and I told her so she told my brother to replace the already filled one that was on the side & instructed him how to set it up to pour! TV had noise lines in the picture + static every 17 to 35 seconds, all channels. Remote for TV had broken piece in it ( like a baby rattle ) and was difficult to use ( had to push buttons "just right" ). Shower would not stay at one temperature ( hot then cold ). "Don't do it"
Well, for starters.....The rooms were a little dirty compared to other hotels we stayed at. There were stray black hairs in the bathtub and no light fixtures on the light bulbs in the bath area. The chair at the desk area was so filthy that you didn't want to sit on it. The sink in my brothers room next to us, didn't drain and leaked. No coffee cups […] in the office where they served the continental breakfast. they said they ran out within 8 minutes of opening. What a joke ! And to top it all off, no ice anywhere on the premises. "Fine for one night"
The hotel is exactly what you'd expect for the price; a place to sleep. The hotel claims to be smoke free (and charge you a $250 cleaning fee if you do smoke), however the oddest thing is that the room smelled of smoke, especially in the fridge. Did someone blow all their cigarette smoke into the fridge? It's truly a mystery. Looks like the surrounding […] neighborhood is no good for exploring, and it's right next to a BK so their was tons of ambient light all night. We used this hotel as a pit stop on the way to Sequoia nat'l park, and it functioned well for that purpose, I think it was about 45 min. away from the park. "Worn out hotel"
Very worn out hotel, tatty furniture, bedding and towels. We had to be moved due to lights not working, sink tap not working and wires left all over the room. This was also a smoking room after we had booked non-smoking. Reception staff were not overly helpful, not really bothered about the room they had given us.
